Tumbling Along

So I am sitting in bed…in my new condo that I just moved into with my boyfriend and I can’t help wonder where the time has gone.  In three weeks I will be graduating from Champlain College with a BS in Public Relations and a certificate in Event Management.  I already have a job that I love (Outreach Coordinator) and everything seems to be falling right into place.  Sadly I have found myself telling people that I feel like I just graduated high school last year…

It’s so weird to think that I was in Hollywood 4 months ago…exploring, eating doughnuts and walking around the set they film one of my favorite shows (CSI).  That is one of the most memorable trips in my life….but now it’s time to be an adult.  I have to leave school behind and even though we only moved into the next town, it will be weird to not call Winooski our home anymore. 

Something else that is going to be weird is not having any more internships.  I am finishing up my marketing internship at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England in the next two weeks and it is bittersweet.  I loved being there and I have learned more than I thought I could, but now I can take everything from PPNNE and my five other internships to the table at my new job! 

I do hope to continue traveling across the world…Australia, Tokyo, and anywhere else that is different and new to me.  I would also love to go to the west coast again.  Well I guess you never know what the future holds, but I am enjoying the next couple of weeks and am very excited to wear that cap and gown to get my diploma :D

I am very excited to see my family in a couple of weeks!  I saw some of my family a couple of weeks ago, but I feel like it’s been forever since we were all together.  So..in the end….there is a lot of exciting stuff ahead and I am finally ready…..so bring it on :D
